Desiccant Bags & Packets

Desiccant bags and packets protect items in shipment or storage from the damages of moisture & corrosion.
 
Unlike our re-chargable Hydrosorbent silica gel units, a Desi Pak containing montmorillonite (commonly referred to as clay), can not easily be reactivated and, thus, does not include an indicator system.  
 
These inexpensive dehumidifying bags are however, very effective when used within sealed containers for storage or shipping of documents, collectibles, toys, clothing, food, electronic parts, and so on.

Conforms to Military Spec MIL-D-3464 Typed 1 & II and will adsorb up to 20 percent of their weight in water vapor in 6 hours. 

An individual 1 unit (5" x 3 ½") clay in kraft Desi Pak will protect approximately .83 cubic feet of space.
