DESCRIPTION

The 70gm Boveda provides two-way humidity control for wood instruments—fretted, bowed and wind.

  • Requires zero maintenance—no more filling messy hoses and wetting sponges

  • Maintains an ideal relative humidity range of 45-55% RH

  • Prevents wide fluctuations in humidity that cause the wood to expand or shrink, and degrade its performance abilities

THIS IS THE RIGHT SIZE BOVEDA FOR:

  • Electric & Acoustic guitars

  • Ukulele, Banjo & Mandolin

  • Violin, Viola, Cello & Bass

  • Any string instrument with a center sound hole or port

  • Bassoon, Bass Clarinet & other large woodwinds

HOW TO USE:

  1. Remove Boveda’s plastic wrapper (do not open the Boveda itself).

  2. Place one 70gm Boveda in your instrument case.

  3. Allow space within the case to avoid crimping or pinching the Boveda. 

  4. Close the case's lid. Always keep your case closed when using Boveda.

  5. Boveda will last 2-6 months depending on the time of year, your climate and your case.

Do not mix different Boveda RH levels within the same instrument case.
Do not use Boveda with other humidification products as they will counteract each other and reduce efficiency.

REPLACE BOVEDA:

Boveda is still working if you feel:

  • Hardening at its corners.

  • Soft spots among some hard areas.

 Boveda is expired if:

  • The entire pack feels rock solid all the way through.
